Firefly

Created by Joss Whedon, Firefly is a short-lived TV show that aired from September to december 2002 on FOX.

Five hundred years in the future, in a new planetary system after humanity abandons "Earth That Was", a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as the new unified central government (the "Alliance") out to get them.
