The Girl Who Silenced The World at the UN

This is a speech from 12 year old Severn Suzuki at the United Nations Earth Summit in june 1992, incriminating all first world countries for their disregard for the future of the planet.

"At school, even in kindergarten, you teach us to behave in the world. You teach us

not tofight with others
to work things out,
to respect others,
to clean up our mess,
not to hurt other creatures
to share - not be greedy

Then why do you go out and do the things you tell us not to do?"
